I am honored to provide full spectrum care to women of all ages as a Certified Nurse Midwife since 2009. Previously, I spent twelve years as a labor and delivery nurse in a Level 3 environment. I have spent my entire career working with women and caring for women, and as such, feel I understand the needs and desires women have for their care. As a midwife, I am proud to offer women a unique healthcare option in which they are assured they will be an active participant in their treatment decisions. I believe in evidence based medicine and using the best available practices to help achieve the most positive outcomes for women in my care. I value the relationships I have developed with the many members of the healthcare team and the wonderful women I have had the honor to care for over the years. My education includes B.S. of Nursing degree with honors from the University of Kansas and a Masters of Science in Nurse Midwifery with honors from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky. My interests include spending time with my husband and three children, cooking, gardening and reading.
