Stanley M. Augustin, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with added qualifications in surgical critical care. For the last 10 years, he has served as an associate professor within the surgery department at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine focusing on trauma /emergency surgery and surgical critical care. He has joined Centerpoint Medical Center as the medical director of the hospital's trauma program. Dr. Augustin is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), and is active in the Missouri Chapter of the ACS.
