It’s all about family time as Lee’s Summit Medical Center, part of the HCA Midwest Health System, sponsors the Third Annual Community Health and Wellness Fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2010. The free event is open to the public and will be held on the Lee’s Summit Medical Center campus.
The family-oriented fun and health event will feature free activities all day long including health screenings, food, kids’ activities and games, booths featuring local organizations, a visit by Life Flight and Lee’s Summit Medical Center health experts who can answer health-related questions. KC Wolf will make an appearance from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. A Best Dressed Pet Contest will occur at 10:30 a.m. with first, second and third place winners receiving a gift certificate to a local pet store. All activities and food are free.
