MedicalGPS patient experience survey measures patient satisfaction from the time the appointment was
made to the time the patient spent with the provider.
Visit Preparation: Measures how courteous, respectful and friendly the clinical
staff was during the patient's visit.
Provider Explanation: Measures whether providers at this practice gave clear,
easy-to-understand explanations during the patient's visit.
Office Wait Time: Measures how satisfied the patient was with wait time during
Patient Recommendation: Measures how likely the patient is to recommend this
practice to family and friends.
Mindi Beahm, MD, is a general surgeon whose main focus is surgery for benign and malignant breast disease. She practices at Independence Surgical Clinic, and cares for patients at Centerpoint Medical Center and Lee’s Summit Medical Center. Dr. Beahm is a board certified general surgeon, and she is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her residency training in General Surgery at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She serves as the Chair of the Breast Program Leadership Committee at Centerpoint, and she is active with the breast program workgroup at the division level for HCA Midwest and Sarah Cannon Cancer Center.
